밴사장 (VanSajang) Privacy Policy

밴사장 (VanSajang) · https://vansajang.com · Effective October 18, 2026

In short: VanSajang is a tool for running your own restaurant. Your business information is yours. It is saved to your own account only so the app can show it back to you on your phone and computer. We don't look at it, sell it, use it for advertising, or share it.

Signing in

You sign in with Google. The app receives only your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and uses them to keep your account separate from everyone else's. It cannot see your Gmail, Drive, contacts or anything else in your Google account.

Your business information

Anything you enter in the app, such as sales, expenses, staff schedules and wages, tips, leases or reviews, is saved to your account so it is there the next time you open the app on any of your devices.

Community

If you choose to post a question, answer or vendor recommendation in the owners' community, that post is shown to other signed-in owners together with your store name, area and type of business. Nothing from your private business information is shared.

If you report a post, the report (which post, the reason you pick and any note you write) is stored and emailed to the developer (through the FormSubmit email-forwarding service, together with the reported post and your store name) so it can be reviewed under the community rules. The person you report is not told who reported them.

Answer notifications (optional)

If you turn on answer notifications on a device, the app saves that device's push address (provided by your browser, for example Google or Apple's push service) to your account. When another owner answers your question, a notification with their store name and the first part of their answer is sent to that device, and it may appear on your lock screen. Turn it off any time in More → Settings → Community answer notifications; signing out or deleting your account also removes it.

Mileage log (optional)

If you use the mileage log, the places you save (name and address) and your trips (date, from, to, purpose, distance) are saved to your account like your other business records. To work out driving distance, the two addresses are sent to Google Maps (Routes API). The app does not track your phone's location. If you import a Google Maps Timeline export file, it is read on your device only; just the drives you choose to add are saved to your log.

Staff schedule link (optional)

If you create a staff schedule link, the next four weeks of your schedule (staff first names as you entered them, their role and shift times) are published at a hard-to-guess web address so your staff can view it without signing in. Anyone who has the link can see that schedule, and staff could forward it. Wages, contact details and sales are never included. You can switch the link off or replace it with a new one at any time; the old link stops working immediately. Please tell your staff before sharing their names this way.

If you turn on staff shift swaps, anyone with the link can also change, add or remove shifts. Each change, with the name the person chose, is kept with the link until your app adds it to your schedule and keeps a record for you. If you turn on the tip calculator, your tip groups and ratios are also shown; amounts staff type in stay on their phone and are not saved.

Pay stub links (optional)

If you turn on pay stub links, each employee gets a separate private link that shows only their own pay stubs and T4. Other employees' pay is never included, and you can switch a link off at any time. To make this possible, that employee's confirmed pay stubs (most recent 60) and yearly T4 amounts are stored with their link at a hard-to-guess web address. Anyone who has an employee's link can see that employee's pay, so send it only to that employee. Switching a link off, or deleting your account, removes this copy.

Feedback you send

If you use "Send feedback", the message you write is sent to the developer by email through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an email-forwarding service, and is also kept in the app's feedback inbox if you are signed in. You can choose whether to include your store name, account email and basic app details (app version, device type and recent error messages) so we can reply and fix the problem.

Running the service

To run the service and answer support requests, the developer can see a short account summary: your sign-in email, display name, store name, area, type of business and the last time you used the app. This summary does not include your sales, expenses, staff or other business records.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud) in Toronto, Canada, and is encrypted in transit and at rest. Google review information shown in the app comes from Google Maps; the few recent reviews the app fetches are kept with Google's attribution and refreshed or removed over time, as Google's terms require.

Deleting your data

You can delete your community posts in the app at any time. To delete your account and everything saved to it, use More → Settings → Delete account in the app (details: delete-account.html), or email EricLeePrec@gmail.com and it will be deleted within 30 days. You can also remove VanSajang's sign-in access at Google Account → Third-party access.

Your staff's information

Staff names, wages and hours you enter are for your own scheduling and payroll. Please let your staff know you keep these records, as required by BC law.
